They (not the computer) have worked together on and off for the last thirty something years.
In 2012 Andrew approached Nigel to record a collection of His instrumental tracks and these were released as the album “An evening with The Nigel Purcell Trio”.

In 2013, the Trio recorded tracks originally recorded between July 1982 and October 1983 and this was released as “Not Now”

Also in 2013 the album “As was” was released featuring re-recorded material from 1978 to 1980

The next album “Life is everything that happens inbetween” came out in 2014 (see review below)

followed by “A coming together of ages” which used some original cassette recordings from 1986-1987 overdubbed in 2014

2015 saw 2 compilation eps being released respectively in response to feedback from listeners which focused on the quieter side of their eclectic output called “Calm” and Not so Calm”

This was followed by “The Ghosts of Rookery Park” single… The link takes you a playlist containing both Singles released in 2015

A new album “Future past sounds” was released April 2015 and is a story based album

A single made from out takes of the album called "Future past it seems/frantic" was released shortly after "Future past it seems" has now been included on a Compilation CD called "Common Factors" released via Good Music sales

In August 2015 they released a mini album called "Cecil and other stories"

"We put out Cecil the Lion in double quick time and the reaction was so positive we put out the 7 seven finished tracks we had in the can as a mini album and as far as streaming goes its gone barmy!"

In December 2015 the mini album "Fireworks across the sky" by accident "It was planned for January 2016 but I pressed publish without changing the date" In 2016 The Trio decided they would release a single or ep every month for 12 months starting May 1st (Not June as Andrew said in the video )

So on May 1st 2016 the Trio started their single a month escapade with "Cupids mistake b/w My Random Jukebox"

Come June 1st 2016 the Trio released the second single "Our land is sacred b/w Wood" This time there was a video for "Our land is sacred" Nigel appears for once!

The Nigel Purcell Trio will be releasing a download single (Two tracks minimum) on the first of the month starting May 1st 2016 for the next 12 months, This replaces the album and EP,

Each release will differ in styles, some Nigel Sings, Some Andrew sings (tries to) some are instrumentals, but that's the Trio, eclectic! so, some of you might like the Indie one or the Rock one or the Quieter one, so there's something for someone somewhere

These musicians have made a lot of songs, you can read on their website, Now to my review about their music on this platform for unsigned musicians. These musicians created a song for every lover of music genre, As a music lover, you have a lot of choice what your favourite song is from these musicians. You can hear how musical these people are, many songs you hear different voices singing in the song.Also, there are songs that are only instrumental what is beautiful, which is also very nice is the variety of music genres use these musicians. Beautiful songs of all they sing and make, believes that these musicians deserve a platform just because of the diversity in the songs, As I have a favourite song, your will as a listener and visitor find another favourite song.
