Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved to sing and dance.  I love music.  It flows right through me.  When I was five or six years old, I began busking for tips at our local summer Farmer’s Market.  I love to perform, and singing karaoke is one of my favorite pastimes.

      One of my goals is to write and publish my own music.  I admire musical artists who help other artists just starting out.  In the summer of 2015, I came up with an idea to help myself and others realize our goals.  I decided to start my own online radio station that would run 24/7.  I decided I wanted to start a way for artists to get their music published.  I built my station with songs people already know and love from many different genres, mainly pop, rock, country, and metal.  I created the mission of the radio station, which is a way for artists to get their original music published and sold.

       After starting the station, I had to find a way to personalize it, so I came up with the persona of Professor Fly, a cartoon character who tells jokes online and answers questions about insects.  The name of the station is also based around swatting flies with a flyswatter…The SPLAT!!  When I get enough songs submitted from artists, we’ll switch to playing completely original music and covers.  Hope you enjoy my unique and humorous station.  I’ve tried to add my own spin to things.
